Starting as a caregiver, she has grown into a beloved teacher, bringing warmth, patience, and dedication to the families she serves. With a background in early childhood education from Guatemala, Nidia’s commitment to nurturing young minds continues to inspire all who know her.

Maura Mazzei Maura Mazzei is our 2025 PRC Superstar Award Winner, has been a dedicated volunteer and teacher in the Stepping Stones program since 2018. A Port Washington resident since 1982, she found a welcoming community at the PRC in 2002, where she participated in classes with her three daughters. She leaves a lasting impact on families in our community.

We ask you to partner with us in our mission to support first connections, parents, and early childhood enrichment programs for all of our community’s young families. The Parent Resource Center’s outreach program continues to grow and thrive. Studies have shown that early childhood education and enrichment programs exponentially impact children’s lives. We are proud to make these opportunities available to all families in our community.
