Come dressed for the red carpet as we raise funds for our beloved Parent Resource Center (PRC). A Night in Hollywood will feature music and dancing, a casino, gift baskets, and delicious food. Please be a sponsor of this glamorous event to benefit our community.

This year, the PRC will be honoring Frank Ullman and Erin Orr. Frank is a third-generation Port Washington resident, who currently serves on the boards of the Sands Point Preserve Conservancy, the Port Washington Children’s Center, and the Landmark on Main Street, LLC. Most proudly, he is a single parent of two daughters who love the Parent Resource Center’s programs, classes and play time. Erin is a PRC lifer, having attended classes at the PRC herself as a young child, then serving as President of the Board of Directors, and now in the role of Assistant Director. She volunteers as a Guggenheim Home-School Association Board Member and is a proud mom of two boys, who have also grown up at the PRC.

We ask you to partner with us in our mission to support first connections, parents, and early childhood enrichment programs for all of our community’s young families. The Parent Resource Center’s outreach program continues to grow and thrive. This year, we have over forty families in Stepping Stones, which provides a Pre-K readiness experience to children ages 0-4 in our community who face financial challenges. In addition to our weekly class, we now offer a Play Preschool separation class for preschool-aged children. We continue to offer Saturday Bilingual Art and Stories to Stepping Stones graduates who are now in Pre-K and Kindergarten.

Through our scholarship program, the PRC offers financial assistance for families in need to take part in our community classes. Thanks to donors like you, we can offer discounts to our wide range of classes, making them accessible to everyone. Studies have shown that early childhood education and enrichment programs exponentially impact children’s lives. We are proud to make these opportunities available to all families in our community.
